What is a Family Profile?

You can add a Family Profile on your Account Page, under 'My Family' (make sure you have the latest version of the Sitters app).

Your Family Profile is a great way to share what makes your family unique and help your sitter feel welcomed.

It lets your sitter get to know your family a little better and feel prepared before accepting a booking.

When offering your bookings to suitable sitters in your area, we'll share your Family Profile, as well as your children’s names, ages and any medical conditions/additional needs that you've told us about, so that they can feel confident they're the right fit for your family.

You might like to include:

• Your family’s usual routines during times when you book childcare, whether daytime or evening.
• Activities your children enjoy, especially those they would love doing with a sitter.
• Any house rules you'd like your sitter to follow while caring for your children.
• Anything else that would make your sitter’s time with your family more enjoyable and relaxed for everyone.

Please avoid adding important health information in Family Profile

Your Family Profile should not include important health and care information - such as additional needs/SEN, allergies, medical conditions, or disabilities.

To add essential Health & Care Details for your children, please go to My Account in the app, select My Family, then tap 'Add Health & Care Details'. 

Please note: Your Family Profile must maintain a respectful tone and refrain from using discriminatory language. All communication should be appropriate and inclusive.
