What does my sitter need to know before a booking?Updated 10 months ago
If there are any particular routines, special needs or other important information that your sitter needs to be made aware of, please do let them know when they arrive at the booking (ideally, these should be discussed beforehand). These could include:
- If your child has been unwell or has taken medication
- Detailed instructions for any medication to be administered
- Feed times
- Favourite toys/comforters
- Bedtimes and bedtime routine
- Any household hazards that should be brought to their attention
You may decide to jot these down for easy reference, together with your contact details and an emergency contact number.
All Sitters childcarers will use their professional judgement and experience during the booking - but you know the needs of your family best, so if there are any special requirements that your sitter needs to be made aware of - it is essential that you pass them on.
