Do I pay towards travel/parking costs?Updated 10 months ago

Under normal circumstances, you don't need to pay anything towards the sitter's travel costs.

Outside of London all sitters have their own cars to travel to and from their appointments and would expect to be able to park at the booking location at no cost. If there is a charge, it would be reasonable for you to make a contribution towards your sitter's parking.

In London some sitters understandably rely on public transport. If a sitter accepts a booking they will have made allowance for their ability to get home after your estimated return time.

However, if you arrived home later than expected and public transport is no longer available, you may wish to contribute towards the cost of a taxi fare which you can do by adding an 'Other' amount in the 'Add a tip/extras' section of the payment screen.
