In the unlikely event that your sitter has not turned up at your booking, here's what to do:
1. Contact the sitter: Check your booking confirmation for the sitter's contact details. Try reaching out to them via phone call or text message to inquire about their status. They should have ideally contacted you 60-90 minutes before the scheduled start time as a courtesy.
2. Wait for a response: Allow a reasonable amount of time for the sitter to respond. Sometimes delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. Contact Support: If you are unable to reach the sitter or do not receive a satisfactory response, contact the support team immediately. You can reach them here.
4. Inform Customer Services: Provide the support team here with your booking details (Postcode, date and time), and explain that your confirmed sitter has not arrived and cannot be reached.
5. Discuss options with us: The team will assist you in deciding the next steps. They may offer to cancel the booking and provide you with a credit or they may attempt to find another available sitter for your booking.
