The booking rate displayed to you on your booking confirmation is a combined rate that includes:
Your sitter's hourly rate: This fee is paid directly to your sitter for their childcare services.
A service fee: This fee is paid directly to Sitters.co.uk to cover the costs mentioned below:
- Rigorous sitter screening: We conduct thorough background checks and reference verifications to ensure the safety and qualifications of our sitters.
- Ongoing support: Our dedicated team provides ongoing support to both parents and sitters, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone.
- Secure booking platform: We offer a secure platform for booking, communication, and payment, giving you peace of mind.
When you pay your sitter at the end of the booking, you'll see a breakdown of the hourly booking rate in the payment summary (which includes the sitter's hourly rate and the service fee) by clicking on the 'i' icon:
